Production process
Cement rotary kiln is a rotary kiln, which calcines limestone, clay and other raw materials at high temperature to produce cement clinker. Its main production process can be divided into the following steps:
(1) Feeding: Feed the raw material into the hopper at the top of the kiln. As the kiln rotates, the raw material will move downwards along the kiln wall.
(2) Preheating and decomposition: In the preheating zone of the kiln, the raw material is preheated to about 500 C, and the water and organic matter begin to decompose. In the calcination zone of the kiln, the raw material is heated to about 1400 C for decomposition and melting.
(3) Burning: The clinker is cooled at the lower end of the kiln and then burned at the rear of the rotary kiln. During the firing process, clinker undergoes long high temperature treatment and various substances are fully reacted to form cement clinker.
(4) Cooling: Cement clinker is cooled after firing. Cooled clinker is sent to grinder for fine grinding and final cement product is obtained.
